Inditex Group leases 6,000 sqm in Coresi shopping center project in Brasov, Romania
Spanish group Inditex has leased a total of 6,000 sqm in Coresi, the shopping center currently being developed by Auchan’s real estate arm Immochan in Brasov, Romania.
Six of the group’s brands will operate within the 6,000 sqm space, namely Zara, Pull and Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius and Oysho.
Some 2,800 sqm of the total leased area will be dedicated to a new Zara concept store.
Immochan is currently developing the Coresi project on a former industrial platform of more than 100 hectares in Brasov, Romania.
The integrated project of commercial, residential and business spaces will represent a long-term investment, the first phase of the project expected to cost more than EUR 60 million, according to Immochan.
Coresi Brasov will include a 6,000 sqm entertainment area, with an eight-room cinema and a gastronomy food-court, as well as an Auchan hypermarket.
Immochan is a shopping center developer founded in 1976.
In Romania, Immochan manages nine commercial centers and has two projects under development: Coresi Brasov and Drumul Taberei - on the former industrial platform Tricodava in Bucharest.
