The total industrial production prices in Romania rose by 8.1 percent in September this year, compared to the same month in 2010, and went up by 0.9 percent month-on-month, according to the Romanian National Statistics Institute (INS).

By main industrial groups, significant month-on-month increases were reported in the energy industry, up 1.5 percent, durable goods industry, up 0.8 percent, in the intermediary goods industry, up 0.8 percent, and in the current goods industry, up 0.5 percent.

Compared to September last year, significant increases by industrial groups were recorded in the energy industry and in the intermediary goods industry.
