Insurer Uniqa registered revenues of EUR 48 million in Romania in the first half of 2014, down 30% year-on-year. The company reported a negative gross result of EUR 3.7 million at the end of June this year, compared to EUR 6.8 million posted in the same period the previous year, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

The sales of general insurance dropped from EUR 69 million to EUR 48 million, while on the life insurance segment subscriptions rose by 23%, to EUR 713,000.
