Vastint Romania, the local real estate division of the Swedish group Inter Ikea, has received the permit to build a new office complex in Bucharest’s Orhideea area.
The new project, which is called Business Garden, will include three buildings with a total office and retail area of 41,000 sqm.
The project will be built on a 2-ha plot bought by Vastint in 2011 for EUR 13 million. The construction of the first building should start at the beginning of 2016, reads a company press release. The tender process for the selection of the general contractor is ongoing.
Vastint has another office project which is now under construction and is located on the former Timpuri Noi platform in Bucharest.
