Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, subsidiary of Intesa Sanpaolo Group, has recently launched a platform for financial and banking services dedicated to the international community in Romania, or people who want to invest or simply to visit the country.

“The objective of this project is to provide to the international customers access to the banking services in Romania, in exactly the same conditions and standards like in their own country”, said Marco Petriccione, head of the SME & retail department of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank. The bank will also offer some tailored products and reduced fees for foreign clients in Romania.

The platform, structured as a tourist guide, is called "Welcome to Romania" and is divided into eight sections, with the structure of a tour guide, with recommendations about the country and financial and banking information. This is a pilot project which will be implemented across the region.
