Investment fund Broadhurst on Tuesday sold its 12.7 percent stake in Romanian plastics producer Prodplast Bucharest (listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, symbol PPL) and in Prodplast Imobiliare for around EUR 4.1 million in several deals on the stock exchange.

The fund sold 2.1 million shares in Prodplast at a price of RON 1.21 a share in 12 deals on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. SIF Oltenia bought half of these shares, reaching a share package of 17.15 percent in the company. Central European Financial Services owns 33 percent of the plastics producer's shares.  Prodplast posted a net profit of EUR 128,000 and total revenues of EUR 807,000 in 2010.
