Investors in Romania can file their applications for the new state aid scheme the Government has announced for the 2019-2021 period starting Monday, September 10.

The process would have started earlier but was delayed by the president’s attempt to block the first budget amendment for this year, said finance minister Eugen Teodorovici.

The scheme’s budget for this year is RON 614 million (EUR 132 million), according to Finance Ministry representatives. The financing requests will be analyzed in the order in which they are submitted.
