Iron throne from Game of Thrones, cast members to appear at event in Romania in May
Game of Thrones fans in Romania have reason to rejoice. In the begining of May, the famous iron throne from the all so popular series will be exhibited during an event in Romania, and actors Jason Momoa , who played Khal Drogo in the same series, and Natalia Tena , who played the Osha character, will also attend this event.
It's the Eastern European version of the popular Comic-Con, and will be called Eastern European Comic-Con. The event will take place between May 9 and 11 at the Rmexpo exhibition center in Bucharest.
The organizers promise fans a chance to take pictures near the famous iron throne, as well as meetings with the guests of honour, the two Game of Thrones actors, as well as actor Sebastian Roché, known for his role in the Vampire Diaries, and Ian Churchil, comic book artist who debuted on Marvel‘s X-Men titles.

The HBO series Game of Thrones is based on a serioes of novels by George R. R. Martin.
The series has won numerous awards and nominations, including a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Drama Series in all three seasons, a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Television Series – Drama, a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation in Long Form, and a Peabody Award.
On the show, the Iron Throne was constructed by Aegon I Targaryen, the first king of the Seven Kingdoms. He made it from the swords surrendered by his enemies. Legend has it, it's made of 1,000 swords that took 59 days to hammer out into a throne. Spikes and jagged edges in every direction make this one very intimidating lounge.
