Italian producer of domestic appliances De’Longhi recently organized a recruiting process for 80 people that will work at the assembly line of coffee machines at the factory in Jucu, Cluj county, Romania.

“We mainly search for people in Dej and Gherla, and over 200 people were interested in these jobs in the two days we organized the recruiting process. We have a total of 200 job openings that we hope to fill in the next period,” said Carmen Mester, employee relations manager at De’Longhi, quoted by local Ziarul Financiar.

According to Mester, 400 people are currently working at the De'Longhi factory in Jucu, but the number will exceed 600 by the end of the year.

De’Longhi bought the former Nokia plant in the Jucu industrial park, Cluj county, in a deal agreed in 2012, and started production in early-2013.
