Romanian real estate developer Iulius group, owned by the local investor Iulian Dascalu, broke ground on a new office building that is part of the mixed real estate project Openville Timisoara.

The building will cover some 13,000 sqm and should be completed in spring next year. It will be triangle shaped, and its basement will include retail and service spaces, whereas eleven floors will host offices.

It is the second office building developed under the United Business Center (UBC) brand, within the multifunctional real estate complex near the Iulius Mall shopping center in Timisoara.

Openville will require over EUR 220 million worth of investments. It is the second mixed-use ensemble developed by Iulius group, after Palas Iasi.
