Famous actor Jean Claude Van Damme is back in Romania to shoot a commercial for a beer brand. Van Damme, who already shot six movies in Romania, flew over by helicopter to Balea Lac close to the Transfagarasan high altitude road.

“I can see big progress has been made since I was here last, you can see people work a lot and make significant progress every day,” said Van Damme.

Wearing jeans and a sleeveless shirt during the filming at minus 3 degrees Celsius, the actor, known for his action movies, stayed at the Balea Lac chalet. Filming was scheduled for Wednesday, March 12.

Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg, professionally known as Jean-Claude Van Damme, is a Belgian martial artist, actor, and director best known for his martial arts action films. At 54, the actor was married five times and has three children.

His most recent movie was The Expendables 2 in 2012. His other best known movies include Bloodsport (1988), Kickboxer (1989), Universal Soldier (1992), Hard Target (1993), Street Fighter (1994), Timecop (1994).
