Jones Lang LaSalle appoints new managing director for Romania as Troy Javaher takes regional position
Real estate consultancy firm Jones Lang LaSalle appointed Gijs Klomp (in picture) at the helm of its Romanian office starting May 1, replacing Troy Javaher, who will take on a regional role. Gijs Klomp joins Jones Lang LaSalle from CBRE Global Investors, formerly ING Real Estate Investment Management. He was based in Prague as CEE transaction manager and head of asset management for Romania. He was responsible for setting up the Romanian business of CBREGi and is a fluent Romanian speaker.
Javaher, who led the JLL office in Romania for the last six years, will move to Prague after a transitional handover period. He will join the firm’s EMEA Capital Markets team as its lead director for Central & Eastern Europe. Javaher’s move follows the promotion of current head of CEE Capital Markets Tomasz Trzoslo who will become the firm’s new managing director for Poland in April.
