Judas Priest throws July gig in Romania, part of last world tour

Heavy metal band Judas Priest will return to Romania for a concert on July 3 at Romexpo in capital city Bucharest, according to the band’s official website. The gig is part of the band's Epitaph tour, the last world tour in the band's 40-year career.

After the concert in Bucharest, the band will play Sofia (Bulgaria) on July 8 and Istanbul (Turkey) on July 10. The tour kicks off in Sweden on June 9. With 16 studio albums and a career spanning over 40 years, Judas Priest sold over 40 million records worldwide.

The English heavy metal band founded in 1969 in Birmingham has played Romania before, in 2009, when it headlined the B'estfest Aftershock festival. Listen to one of their songs below.
