Kaufland launches new brand for Romanian products
German retailer Kaufland, the biggest modern retailer in Romania in terms of sales, has launched a new brand for products exclusively made in Romania.
The brand is called K-Vreau din Romania. It includes basic food products such as flour, corn, bacon, bakery products, dairy products and sweets.
More than 50% of the products sold by Kaufland come from Romanian producers, said Kaufland Romania Corporate Affairs manager Valer Hancas. The new brand’s design is inspired by traditional Romanian motifs.
Kaufland is one of the largest retail companies in Europe, with over 1,250 stores in seven countries. It has a network of 116 stores in Romania.
