La Fantana makes EUR 17 mln turnover, same as in 2009
Romanian company La Fantana posted a turnover of EUR 17 million in 2010, the same as in the previous year, with a volume of sales of almost 80 million liters of bottled water, according to the company.
La Fantana Romania, the largest player in the distribution and bottling natural water consumed through watercoolers, announced an advance of 30 percent on the residential segment compared to 2009. The increase is reported to the number of installed mini watercoolers and also to the quantity of consumed bottled water, which has reached three million liters.
The company estimates for 2011 a volume increase of up to 5 per cent and a slight increase in customer portfolio, both among companies and domestic consumers, according to Mihai Matyas, General Manager of La Fantana Romania.
Present on the Romanian market over ten years, La Fantana Group has 600 employees in Romania and Serbia, two bottling units in Romania – in Bucharest and Tălmaciu/Sibiu County – and one bottling unit in Serbia, Mitrovo Polje.
It serves 25,000 companies in Romania and the number of its installed watercoolers throughout the country has reached 55.000.
