American singer Lady Gaga might perform in Romania in the second half of July this year, at the National Arena stadium in Bucharest, according to Metropotam.ro. The event would be organized by Bucharest City Hall, for the inauguration of the stadium.

Bucharest mayor Sorin Oprescu tried last year to get Irish band U2 for the inauguration of Romania’s new National Arena, but it wasn’t possible as the band were on tour in South Africa.

According to Musictitans.com website, Lady Gaga will be on stage in Romania on February 16, 2014.

American rock legends Red Hot Chilli Peppers will perform at National Arena in Bucharest on August 31, this year.
