Largest mobile carrier in Romania buys four electric cars
ALD Automotive, one of the main players on the operational leasing market in Romania, will provide a fleet of four Renault ZOE electric cars to local telecom group Orange Romania.
Orange, the largest mobile carrier in Romania with over 10 million clients, has become the first local company that uses “battery” electric vehicles. The companies’ interest in electric cars will hopefully stimulate the authorities’ interest for these vehicles, said Shane Dowling, ALD Automotive Romania general director.
The four Renault Zoe cars are 100% electric and can be fully recharged in 6-7 hours. Their autonomy is between 100 km and 150 km.
ALD Automotive is a subsidiary of BRD – Groupé Société Générale and ALD Automotive Group.
