Which are the largest tourism agencies in Romania?

Christian Tour, the local company owned by Romanian investor Cristian Pandel, is the largest tourism agency in Romania with a turnover of EUR 55.5 million in 2015, according to a ranking done by the National Association of Travel Agencies (ANAT).

Happy Tour, which is owned by the Spanish investment fund GED, ranks second, with EUR 43.7 million. Paravion, also owned by GED, is the third largest local travel agency. The company is also the largest Romanian online tourism agency.

Paralela 45, the company owned by the ANAT head Alin Burcea, ranks fourth. It is followed by Vola.ro, owned by Daniel Truica, two Polish investors and the investment fund 3TS Capital.

The cumulated turnover of the largest 30 local travel agencies exceeded EUR 500 million in 2015.
