Fashion retailer Kenvelo has relaunched the Lee Cooper brand in Romania and opened ten stores under this brand in Romania, having invested EUR 1 million in this expansion. The company runs a joint – venture with Lee Cooper London for the Romanian market.

Lee Cooper has previously been present on the Romanian market through a franchise deal with LCR Jeans, but that went bankrupt. Ten new stores are in plan for the following year under the Lee Copper brand, in Bucharest, Timisoara, Craiova, Constanţa, Iaşi, Cluj, Braşov, Sibiu, Arad.

The group runs stores under two other brands, Kenvelo and Tom Tailor. There are 54 Kenvelo stores and five Tom Tailor stores in Romania.

Kenvelo, a company based in the Czech Republic, has chosen Romanian singer Smiley to be the face of Lee Cooper in Romania. It has also organized a fashion show in Afi Palace Cotroceni West of Bucharest, where it runs a store.
