Lidl Romania offers touristic services
German retailer Lidl launched yesterday its online holiday store in Romania.
The holiday package prices start from EUR 79 per person for a five-night stay in a three-star hotel in Romanian black sea resort Mamaia to EUR 999 per person for a seven-night stay in the Dominican Republic.
Lidl will collaborate with tour agencies TUI TravelCenter and Karpaten Turism for creating the touristic packages. The retailer also offers touristic services in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Italy.
Lidl saw a turnover of over EUR 1 billion in Romania last year, up 21.5% compared to 2015. Its net profit totaled EUR 38.7 million, 2.8 times higher than the previous year.
