Light into Europe organizes traditional Highland Dinner and Caledonian Ball on November 20

The charity Light into Europe will organize The Highland Dinner and the Bucharest Caledonian Ball on November 20 at the InterContinental Hotel and at the Cercul Militar in the capital city. The ticket price is of EUR 99 (or RON 430) for the evening.

The event will feature live Scottish music performed by the band “Òr Ceilidh Band”, especially flown in for the evening from Edinburgh. More information about the band here.

Traditional Haggis imported from Bannockburn, Scotland will be among the dinner courses. (Haggis is a dish containing sheep's heart, liver and lungs, minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally simmered in the animal's stomach for approximately three hours.)

If you want to practice before the ball, free dance practices will be organized at the InterContinental Hotel on Sundays from 19,00 to 21,00 hours.

Light into Europe’s objective is to help the Romanian sensory disadvantaged children and young people to improve their lives, to expand their possibilities and to become active and accepted members of the Romanian society.
