Linde Group, which runs Linde Gaz in Romania, recently bought the respiratory home care company Oxigen Plus, a firm with an annual turnover of EUR 2.44 million in 2011. Linde Gaz operates a specialized division in the healthcare market.

"For us, the acquisition of Oxigen Plus is a natural action, in line with the development strategy in Romania. Linde is the largest supplier of medical gases and related services in Romania, and Oxigen Plus perfectly complements our portfolio on the home care market. It is a strategic decision in the context of developing The Linde Group’s area of expertise in Romania," said Iulia Oprea, Manager Healthcare, Linde Gaz Romania.

Oxigen Plus entered the Romanian market in 2004. It provides respiratory services such as oxygen therapy, sleep therapy and ventilation services.

The Linde Group is a gases and engineering company with around 50,500 employees and EUR 13.7 billion in sales in 2011.

Linde Gaz Romania produces and distributes industrial, specialty, medical and food gases, welding products, equipment and accessories and offers a wide range of related gas supply and uses. Linde Gaz Romania is present in most industrial segments in Romania.
