Local media: Galerie de Beaute Paris targets 5% share of Romania’s cosmetics market

14 March 2014

Galerie de Beaute Paris, the exclusive distributor in Central and Eastern Europe for the products Stanhome and Kiotis (owned globally by Yves Rocher), should reach a market share of three to five five percent in Romania, the company’s co-founder Srdjan Mijuskovic told local Wall-street.ro.

However, he did not mention how long it would take the company to reach this sales level. The local cosmetics market is estimated at some EUR 800 million.

Galerie de Beaute Paris started its activity in Romania in April 2013 and was founded by Srdjan Mijuskovic, Nicoleta Coifescu and Angelina Mazzara.

Some of the players on the local cosmetics market through direct sales are Avon, Oriflame and Amway.
