Low cost airline Blue Air opens new Bucharest-Cologne route
Romanian low cost airline Blue Air on Monday (June 16) operated the first flight on the Bucharest-Cologne route, with 150 passengers on board. On the return flight, the company transported 75 passengers.
The flight will operate three times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, until October 24, 2014.
Blue Air also operates direct flights to Stuttgart, Germany, with departures from Bucharest and Sibiu.
From Bucharest, the Romanian airline operates flights to Barcelona, Bologna, Brussels, Dublin, Cologne, Larnaca, London, Madrid, Malaga, Milan, Naples, Nice, Paris, Rome, Stuttgart and Valencia.
The company also flies from Bacau - to Bologna, Brussels, Dublin, London, Milan, Paris, Rome and Turin, and from Sibiu - to Stuttgart.
