Low cost airline Wizz Air to recruit pilots in Romania this November

Low cost airline Wizz Air is looking for pilots for its Romanian bases, the company has announced.

The Romanian recruitment session will be held at Angelo Airport Hotel in Bucharest, on November 19, 10:00.

The requirements to be met by those who want to join the Wizz Air team include: unrestricted right to work in Romania, a valid Romanian passport, JAA/EASA pilot license, a Multi Engine/Instrument Rating endorsement (IR/ME) with at least 3 months validity remaining from the date of application, and fluency in English.

The candidates are also asked to bring a CV in English, their log book, the CPL/ATPL license and any other pilot licenses, as well as any other supporting documents that they have the IR and ME rating.

Wizz Air is the largest low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe and operates a fleet of 45 Airbus A320 aircraft from 19 bases with 280 routes linking 95 destinations in 35 countries.

Wizz Air has some 1,700 employees and had some 12 million passengers in 2012.

The low cost airline carried 2.7 million passengers to and from Romania last year.
