Oil company Lukoil plans to shut down its Petrotel refinery in Ploiesti, Romania, for maintenance next month. The halt will last for two weeks, between February 13 and 18,  for regular equipment inspections, the company has announced.  The Petrotel-Lukoil plant can process 48,600 barrels of crude oil a day, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Refiners have to periodically shut production for repairs and inspections to ensure efficient operations and to detect potential problems.

Lukoil has a network of 300 gas stations in Romania.
