Luna Amara plays opening for Ozzy Osbourne's Bucharest concert in October
Local band Luna Amara will play the opening for the Ozzy Osbourne concert in Bucharest, scheduled for October 2nd at Zone Arena. Coma, another Romanian band, will also play in the opening part before the Ozzy Osbourne's gig.
Luna Amara is an alternative rock band which was set up 10 years ago in Cluj – Napoca. It was initially called Tanagra Noise. The name 'Luna Arama' means 'Bitter Moon' (from Roman Polanski's movie by the same name).
The band has launched three albums so far. The band is made of Mihnea Blidariu, the leading singer, who also plays the trumpet and guitar, Mihnea Andrei Ferezan, guitarist, Sorin Moraru - bass, Nick Fagadar – singer and guitar player and Răzvan Ristea, who plays the drums.
Luna Amară played the opening for bands such as Anathema, Stone Sour, Alice In Chains and Rammstein this year at the Sonisphere concert.
