Madrigal Choir holds special concert for babies and future mothers in Bucharest
The National Chamber Choir "Madrigal - Marin Constantin" will mark Children's Day with a special concert dedicated to babies (0-12 months) and pregnant women. The event will be held at the Metropolitan Circus in Bucharest on June 3.
The concert will be conducted by Cezar Verlan, the second conductor of the Madrigal Choir.
The organizers said they selected songs that stimulate language, listening and memory skills, capture the baby's attention, invite him to play, soothe him, and prepare him for sleep. The program of the Madrigal for Babies concert includes works such as "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," "Greensleeves," "Moon River," and "Lullaby."
The event is part of a larger project, carried out in collaboration with pianist and music therapist Angelica Postu, president of the Romanian Music Therapy Association, music therapist specialist at the Charité Psychiatric University Hospital in Berlin, and PhD student at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
Tickets can be purchased online at Bilete.ro.
