A Romanian calling himself a 'magic mentalist' won the Romania's got talent final after having stopped his own heart during a live event and after having guessed what the jury members would say during the gala.

Romanian Cristian Gog, who was voted the most talented Romanian, won the final after shocking many of the 5 million viewers by stopping his heart beat. His performance on Friday evening (May 11 ) was certified by a team of doctor and nurse and an electrocardiogram machine that flat lined for a couple of seconds during the show, while Gog was still talking to the audience.

The contestant tried to defy death on the final, but had another ace up his sleeve. He brought in a locked briefcase at the beginning of the show, and asked the jury what they believed the briefcase contained. At the end of his performance, when opening the briefcase, Gog showed three pieces of paper with the jury's answers written on them.

Gog won EUR 130,000 and the title of Romania's most talente. Second and third places were occupied by Mihai Petraiche -with a robot dance and Cristian Leana, who solved three Rubik’s cubes blindfolded and with only one hand.

Gog's performance already got international media attention. The Sun wrote about the Romanian – check the article here.
