Man dies after jumping in front of a subway train in Bucharest
A man died after jumping in front of a subway train at the Izvor metro station in Bucharest, on Wednesday, March 2.
The man hasn't been identified yet, and the police are expecting the expertise of the National Legal Medicine Institute - INML, according to a statement of the Bucharest Police cited by local Mediafax.
The incident, which seems to be a suicide, took place on Wednesday morning. Metrorex rescuers and an emergency service team arrived at the scene, but the man couldn’t be saved.
The incident also affected the traffic on the metro Line 1.
