Managers of Romanian companies forecast manufacturing and constructions growth
Romanian company managers forecast an increase in the manufacturing and construction sectors from March to May this year, compared to the previous three months, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS). Retail and services sectors are expected to record moderate growth.
According to the statistics analysis for March 2012, managers in manufacturing forecast an increase in production volume in the next three months, while for the manufacturing of tobacco products a strong growth is expected. The number of employees is estimated to remain relatively stable.
The production volume in the construction sector is also expected to go up, according to INS. Managers forecast a stable trend on the number of employees between March and May, 2012.
In retail, managers estimate a moderate growth in economic activity. According to estimations in March 2012, the demand for services will also have a moderate growth.
