Marky Ramone brings the Ramones hits to Silver Church Club in Bucharest

Marky Ramone (in picture), founder of the Ramones, a US punk rock band from the 70s, will be playing in the Silver Church Club in Bucharest on October 27 from 20,00 hours.(MAP) The concert will also feature Michael Graves, former member of the Misfits. Romanian band ZOB will play the opening of the concert.  Tickets will cost RON 50 and can be acquired during the concert evening from the Silver Church Club.

Marky Ramone (on his real name Marc Steven Bell) is an American musician best known for being the drummer for The Ramones. He has also played in other bands like Dust, Wayne County and the Backstreet Boys, Richard Hell & The Voidoids, and the Misfits.

All of the Ramones band members adopted pseudonyms ending with the surname "Ramone", though none of them were actually related. They performed 2,263 concerts, touring  for 22 years. In 1996, after a tour with the Lollapalooza music festival, the band played a farewell show and disbanded. Lead singer Joey Ramone, guitarist Johnny Ramone and bassist Dee Dee Ramone have all died.
