Mazars Romania recently launched Mazars Dutch Desk, a new unit designed to provide integrated support in tax consulting, accounting and payroll outsourcing, audit and financial advisory services.

The new unit’s multidisciplinary team will support both the Dutch-owned companies already active on the local market and investors who want to start new business in Romania. This includes the investors which are investing via The Netherlands into Romania, according to the company.

The Mazars Dutch Desk’s activity will be based on the German Desk’s experience and practice, the first unit that Mazars launched, in 2013, for a language based business community.

Mazars Dutch Desk is led by Edwin Warmerdam, Tax Partner Mazars Romania.

The Dutch investments and the investments made via The Netherlands currently represent 20 percent of the total foreign direct investments in Romania.
