Ella Chilea has been appointed Audit Partner with Mazars Romania, the audit, accountancy, advisory, tax and legal services firm.

She joined Mazars in December 2015. She worked to strengthen the capabilities in the Audit & Financial Advisory Department, supporting the management of the department in coordinating the audit activity and further developing the practice by providing quality support to clients.

As an Audit Partner, she will work alongside Vasile Andrian, Head of the Audit and Advisory practice and Razvan Butucaru, Partner Audit and Financial Advisory.

Over the past two years, the firm’s Audit & Financial Advisory Department has managed to consolidate its practice. With an increase of 10%, the portfolio comprises today more than 200 clients, from multinational and listed companies to small and medium sized enterprises, covering a wide range of industries.

“My objectives in my new role are to ensure that our audit services are relevant and bring value to our clients and their stakeholders, and that our mandates are delivered by excellent, committed and truly independent professionals. We want to offer a genuine choice in a market that is under scrutiny. We want to play our part in the long-term success and growth of our partners,” Chilea said.

In Romania, Mazars has an experience of more than 20 years in audit, tax, accounting & payroll and advisory services. It is active on the market since 1995. The local team is made up of more than 160 professionals.
