McCann Erickson Romania awarded at Golden Drum for Rom and Vodafone campaigns

McCann Erickson Romania got the Golden Rose award for the most successful agency at the Golden Drum Festival that took place between October 5 and 8 in Slovenia. The agency also received awards for several campaigns: "American Rom" (Kandia Dulce), " Vodafone -The Wedding" (Vodafone), "Vodafone Cerebel" (Vodafone) and "Vodafone Chivu" (Vodafone).

The agency XSR MG was also awarded for the campaigns “The Sound of Piran - Violin" şi "The Sound of Piran – Seagull". Brands Rom and Vodafone were also awarded at the Brand Grand Prix section.

McCann Erickson Romania and XSR MG were the only Romanian agencies awarded at the Golden Drum. Check the full list of winners here.

McCann Erickson Romania posted a turnover of EUR 44.3 million last year and a profit of EUR 1.5 million. The year before, its turnover was of EUR 56 million and the profit, of EUR 1.7 million. Vodafone’s advertising account went to OMD in early 2010, following an international pitch, but returned to McCann from October this year. Vodafone had been working for the last 12 years with McCann Erickson.
