Medas opens fourth clinic, plans private hospital in Victoriei Square

Private healthcare operator Medas has opened a new medical clinic on 2,500 sqm within Unirea Shopping Center in Bucharest, following an investment of EUR 4 million. This is the forth clinic in the Medas network and includes 23 medical rooms.

The company plans to open a private hospital in 2011, to be located in Victoriei Square in Bucharest. It plans to invest EUR 5 million in this project, which will be specialized in surgery and will feature 40 beds.  Medas, which was created in 2003, runs four clinics, six labs and five imaginery units. The company is owned by Simona and Abd Halal Ateia.
