OTP Bank could announce this Wednesday the takeover of Millennium BCP’s operations in Romania, within an event of ‘great importance for the Romanian banking sector," according to Wall-Street.ro.

Millennium BCP has been trying to find a buyer for its Romanian subsidiary for a year, but the deadline agrees with the European Commission was June 2015. In Romania, the bank cut its loss to EUR 5.9 million last year, from EUR 24 million in 2012.
