Medicines Agency’s employees don’t want to move to Bucharest
Nine out of ten employees in the European Medicines Agency (EMA) would prefer resigning than moving to cities in Eastern Europe such as Warsaw, Bucharest or Sofia, according to a survey carried out among 92% of the agency’s employees, Politico reports, cited by local Agerpres.
Most employees would prefer relocating to Amsterdam. Moving there would thus result in the lowest loss of stuff, according to EMA.
London-based European Medicines Agency needs to relocate following Brexit. 19 European cities, including Bucharest, have submitted their candidacy to host the agency.
EMA employees also prefer cities like Barcelona and Vienna, followed by Milan, Copenhagen, Athens and Dublin, Politico reports.
