Romanian private healthcare group opens new hospital in Bucharest
Romania’s largest private healthcare service provider Medlife opened its fourth hospital in Bucharest, on Thursday, May 7. This is the company’s ninth hospital in Romania.
Medlife has invested EUR 1.4 million in the new unit which has 1,800 sqm and 31 beds. The hospital has a modern operating room that can host any type of surgery, anesthesia section and intensive care, as well as lab equipment for emergency tests.
The new hospital is located in one of Bucharest’s busiest residential areas, Titan, where Medlife also has a hyperclinic.
Medlife has a total of nine hospitals in Romania which host 23 operating rooms and 610 beds. The company also has 13 hyperclinics, 18 laboratories, 3 maternities, 12 specialized centers and 8 drug stores.
