The Romanian meteorologists expect snow in Moldova and Transylvania regions, the mountain areas, and Bucharest, on Wednesday, December 16.

The weather is to remain cold throughout the day. There will be sleet and snow in the south-east area (including Bucharest), in the mountains, as well as in Transylvania and Moldova regions.

The maximum temperatures will stay between -2 and 6 degrees Celsius in Romania on December 16 while the minimum temperatures will be between -8 and 2 degrees Celsius. It is possible to get even colder than that in the mountains.

If it snows indeed in Bucharest, it will only be for a short period and not enough to set. The fair weather and higher than normal temperatures are expected to return before the end of this week and maintain until Christmas.
