Mid-August brings movie watching on huge screen near Bucharest’s Dambovita river
An unconventional movie screening will take film lovers to the Dambovita river in Bucharest mid-August, to watch three short films on a huge screen on one of the river’s banks.
This will be part of the Anonimul Film festival, which has moved from the Danube Delta to Bucharest this year, and will be supported by the Rowmania Eco-Tourism Center, which offers paddle trips on the Dambovita this summer.
The special screening will take place on August 13 in the evening, starting 20:30. Viewers can sit in boats or on paddle boats on the river, or on the grass on the banks of the river, in an especially created area.
The screening will be called Omnibus Anoimul 10, and will include three shot films by Romanian directors. All three short movies were filmed in Sfantu Gheorghe, where the Anonimul Film festival used to take place in previous years.
