Mihai Boldijar appointed GM of Robert Bosch and Bosch representative in Romania and Bulgaria

Mihai Boldijar, 53, was recently appointed general manager of Robert Bosch and representative of German corporation Bosch in Romania and Bulgaria, replacing Brigitte Eble, who retired, according to the company.

According to the new general manager, the following years will continue to be very important for the company, which plans to further consolidate its position in the region.

“Last year, the plant in Blaj was expanded with another production unit, and the first center for research and development was opened in Cluj. The official opening of the new factory in Cluj will take place in early-May,” said Boldijar.

Mihai Boldijar joined Bosch in 1995, and held several positions within the company, more recently as regional director of the Automotive Aftermarket Division for the ASEAN region.

Between 2009 and 2013, he led the general operations and the strategic development of the Automotive Aftermarket Division in Soutg-East Asia. He also coordinated the operations of the Vietnam division.

Until 2009, Boldijar was regional director of the Automotive Aftermarket Division in South-Eastern Europe, within Robert Bosch SRL.

Bosch Group is present in four cities in Romania, namely Bucharest, Blaj, Cluj and Timisoara. In early-2014, Bosch had some 2,000 employees on the local market.
