British artist Mika will perform this July at the B’estfest festival in Bucharest, joining names like Skunk Anansie, Flogging Molly, Asian Dub Foundation, Lamb, Pendulum (live), House of Pain and Hadouken!. Mika’s concert is scheduled for July 2.

Mika, by his real name Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr. released his first single “Relax Take It Easy” in 2006, followed in early 2007 by “Grace Kelly”, the song that went up in the charts in UK in the same month. The artist's debut album, "Life in Cartoon Motion" was released in February 2007, bringing Mika both an impressive number of fans and critical acclaim, being compared to artists such as Freddie Mercury, Scissor Sisters, Elton John, Robbie Williams and David Bowie. Mika is currently working on a new album. The only details known so far is that it will be launched in 2011 and it will be built in a completely different way compared to previous materials. The B’estfest music festival will be organized in the north of Bucharest, 10 minutes away from the Free Press Square, in the Pipera – Tunari area. Tickets can be purchased for RON 125 a day ticket, RON 265 3-day subscription and RON 15 for camping vouchers from Diverta stores, The Ark, Sala Palatului, Mihai Eminescu bookshop or on-line from www.myticket.ro. Starting July 1, the first day of B’estfest, tickets can be purchased daily from the festival entrance at the price of RON 150, while 3-day subscriptions will be available only on the first day at a price of RON 285, plus the camping voucher for RON 15.
