Millennium Bank Romania managed to reduce its loss in Romania by 23 percent, reaching EUR 10.1 million in the first half of the year. The bank's loss in the second quarter of the year was down to EUR 3.7 million, from EUR 6.4 million in the first quarter of the year.

Millennium grew the volume of loans by 14.5 percent in the first quarter of the year, to EUR 357 million. Millenium Bank closed down some of its units, down from 66 units, from 74 at the end of June 2010.
