Miroslaw Smyk leaves helm of Romtelecom's TV division
Miroslaw Smyk, the head of Romtelecom's TV division, has decided to leave the company as of July 1st. Smyk, who has been managing the TV division since 2007, has been in charge of Romtelecom's growth on the TV segment. Before becoming Gm of the TV division, he has been in charge of the IPTV project within Romtelecom.
Before joining Romtelecom, Smyk has been working for Telefonica in the Czech Republic, Energis in Poland, Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa. 31-year old Smyk holds an MBA from the Warsaw School of Economics. He is yet to announce his new projects.
Following his departure, Romtelecom has started an international recruitment process to cover the position.
