MOL completes rebranding of Agip gas stations in Romania
Hungarian fuel distribution company Mol will complete the rebranding of the 42 Agip fuel stations in Romania, this month, following a EUR 5 million investment. The group acquired the stations from ENI Romania in February.
Mol Romania has an investment budget of about EUR 15 million this year, said Kinga Daradics, the company’s CEO, cited by local Wall-street.ro.
Mol Romania’s results on the retail segment increased by 7% in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period last year.
In 2015, Mol will reach a network of about 200 units in Romania, as a result of integrating the acquired units. This transaction was part of a larger international deal in which the Hungarian group bought 208 service stations in Romania, Czech Republic and Slovakia from Italian group ENI.
