MOL ups fuel sales volume in Romania by 20%
Fuel distribution company MOL Romania increased its retail sales volume by 20%, in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period of 2015, to 145,000 tons. The figure includes the sale of fuel, lubricants, and liquefied petroleum gas.
The diesel sales increased by 20% to 104,000 tons whereas the gasoline sales went up by 16% to 36,000 tons.
The company’s network reached 206 stations at the end of March. Mol Romania completed the acquisition of Agip gas stations at the end of last year.
Mol is a state-owned Hungarian oil company. At a group level, Mol increased its sales by 10%, in the first three months of the year, to 889,000 tons.
