Romania added more medals to its portfolio at the European Athletics Under 23 in Tampere, Finland, reaching a total of four medals won at the international sports competition.

Romania athlete Mirela Lavric got the silver medal at the singles 400 meters race, while the team of four athletes which competed in the 4x400 meters relay race won another silver medal. Romania's team in the relay race was made of Camelia Gal, Mirela Lavric, Sanda Belgyan and Adelina Pastor (all in picture).

This is the third medal for Mirela Lavric at this competition, after the gold she won on Friday, July 12, at the 800 meters race. The day before, the athlete Nicolae Soare won the silver for the 10,000 meters race.
