Most Romanians watch TV to get informed; radio, Internet and printed press follow suit

Most of Romanians – 85 percent – get informed by watching TV, while only 32 percent listen to the radio, found a recent Eurobarometer survey. The 85 percent of Romanians said they watch TV every day or almost every day, in a similar percentage across the EU.

The printed press got a response percentage of only 16 percent, while the Internet, of 30 percent, both below the EU average. In large cities, 54 percent of the respondents said they use the Internet every day. Only one out of four Romanians believes to be well informed on European issues and they use the TV to get informed, followed by the use of Internet.
