Movie screenings at Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival in November

Short films awarded at the film festivals in Venice, Cannes, Berlin, Rotterdam, Oberhausen, will be screened for the first time in Romania during the Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival (BIEFF), an event that will be held at Scala Cinema in the capital city, between November 16 and November 20, 2011. This year’s edition of the BIFF International Competition brings together some of the most interesting titles in the avant-garde cinema and visual arts.

During this event, several awarded movies will be screened in Romania, movies like “Night Fishing” directed by Park Chan-wook and his brother Park Chan-kyong, ”Stardust”, a short film directed by the visual Blegian artist Nicolas Provost, and "Maska", the latest experimental animation film directed by two of the most influential authors of this contemporary gender, the Quay brothers.

The entrance at this festival is free.
